Focus your online searches with the + sign
Here’s a good way to save yourself some time while finding scholarships that are tailored to you: just use the plus sign (+) between the words you put in your online searches.
When you do that, you’re telling the search engine to only bring back results that contain
all of the words with a + sign in front of them, not just one or some of them.
Example: Scholarships + Music + Brass + Instruments
Note: If your search results keep coming back with certain words or phrases you don’t want, you can exclude those words by entering them in your searches, but with a minus sign (-) in front of them.
